Knook Knowledge: Plant Power 

Partnering with Big Buddies

 

Our Grade 9 buddies helped us to unearth the power of the plants in our local spaces.  

 

This project was completed using 12 iPads. 

 

We created posters with PicCollageâ„¢ and then games with TinyTapâ„¢ to help others explore the plants around them.  We used QR codes to link the two projects together. 

 

We compiled the posters in a Knook Book to share to our school and community libraries.  Finally, we hope to post the posters in the Knooks beside the plants located on our community walking paths.
